Hawaii Forest Institute Becomes an Investing In Communities® (IIC)
Nonprofit Partner!

Hawaii Forest Institute is excited to announce a new way for our friends, family and contributors to support our mission! Hawaii Forest Institute is now an official Investing In Communities (IIC) Nonprofit Partner and can receive IIC® funds generated by the real estate transactions of supporters like you – at no personal cost!

IIC’s mission is to inspire widespread social responsibility among individuals and businesses by empowering them to support nonprofits through their real estate transactions. Here’s how IIC works:

1. An IIC Friend – an IIC supporter who may need real estate services – approaches an IIC Real Estate Member or asks their preferred broker to join IIC. If he or she is not already a Member, it’s fast and easy!
2. IIC Real Estate Members agree to pledge no less than 10% of their commission to the client’s preferred IIC Nonprofit Partner/s.
3. IIC distributes the dollars generated by a transaction to the selected Nonprofit Partner/s. The real estate client directs the philanthropy, but the cost is solely at the Real Estate Member’s expense.
We urge our supporters to inquire about participating in Investing In Communities. Visit www.iiconline.org to learn more about IIC and become an IIC Friend. Become a part of IIC, and help tell the world to GET GIVING!
